I want to advice for new student who is going to take a summer semester. First, you make many American friends. It is good for your communication skill. Also you can know American culture. Second, you should read English books and news papers as much as possible. And you should watch American films. You can check grammars and constructions of sentence from the books or movies. Finally, anytime anywhere you should try to talk with Americans. Don’t be afraid.

week 10

I would like to get great report card for my next birthday. My birth day is January 6th, so my next birthday is almost 9month after. I should do things during the 9 months. Before I came here, I was not faithful to academic study at my university. Just I enjoyed my university life. I think that is enough for enjoying university life. When I go back to Korea after this semester, I am going to go back to university for fall semester. That time, I am the junior class, so I will be very eager in my studies. When fall semester finished on December, I will get great-great- report card. It will be wonderful present for me and my parents.

In 1973, cell phone was invented by Martin Kuper who was a researcher. I think cell phone is one of the best inventions. I like talk with friends, so cell phone is very useful thing for me. Whenever, I can talk with my friends and family. when I have a boyfriend, cell phone is only thing that can connect with my boy during the day.. Oh,,,,,how wonderful it is???

Spring is coming soon. Spring is the right season for picnic. When my friends visit Iowa city, I am going to go on a picnic at the city park. I prepare a lunch box for our meal. I want to ride a bike with my friends. I also take many pictures and leave our memory for a long long time. I can do those things at the City park. Let's gogogo on a picnic.

My favorite movie genre is thriller which should contain numerous sensational scenes or a narrative that is sensational or suspenseful.

Why am I like thriller?

Because I cannot reduce the tension, while I am watching thriller movie. I think one of the thriller movies is “Saw”. I watched all series of the Saw. It makes me scary but I can watch them.

One day, when I get out of the house because I was going to school. At that time my mother saw to the porch and said becareful that you should not talk a lot because that time yellow sand was very intense. I laughed loudly because I didn’r think that yellow sand was very intense. But when I waited for bus, I saw a lot of people wore a mask and the sky is hazy with yellow send dust. I was moved by my mom’s words and I felt that my mom’s love.

Week 4

I want to own my restaurant. So I am studying about restaurant managemant in my university. Though I can not cook very well, I will do my best. when I own my restaurant, I want to be famous. So I hope that my restaurant is well patronized and I make a lot of maney.
